Have you ever wished you could switch on a light without having to touch anything? The Touchless Tech TT-1 is just such a switch, no more fumbling in the dark trying to find the lamp switch. Just pass your hand over the unit and the light will switch on.

TT-1 switch is an innovative table light switch that provides a convenient and safe way of operating lights in the home, workshop, at the office and in other places such as hospitals, laboratories and care homes.

The switch sits neatly on a bedside table, desk or other flat surface near to hand. A single sweep of the hand over the switch will switch the lamp on. A second sweep will switch the lamp off. There is a delay of 5 seconds after activation so the switch cannot be repeatedly switched on and off. Also because the switch is sensitive in a limited 8 degrees range the switch is unlikely to be accidentally activated.

Because no part of the body touches the switch it is ultra safe so is invaluable in clean environments where the user cannot or does not want to touch a switch because of wet or dirty hands. The switch is also silent therefore it can be activated at night without a loud click disturbing your partner or a sleeping child

The switch uses technology that activates on moving body heat passing over the sensor. The switch will conveniently respond to any part of the body – hand, elbow, foot, knee, head and even small movements of a finger – making it a boon to people with any sort of dexterity, mobility or visual impairment. The switch is also safe for children because it will still work if liquid is spilt over it. At night the sensor emits a neon glow so can be seen in poor light or in the dark.

The TT-1 will operate incandescent lamps from 115v to 230v and is supplied with a wired-in floating 13 amp socket so the switch is ready to go as soon as you get home. Just plug in your lamp and you have your Touchless switch control.

Other Touchless Tech switches operate on higher current appliances up to 8amps and also a variety of electronic devices.
